Dancers of all levels with an interest in healing and corona which is the latin name for a crown or wreath. It’s the outer atmosphere of a sun or star, an opera, a part of some cathedrals, many kinds of food and drink, a family of snails, You will find it in the human eye, among the stars, in mathematical theorems…

We have for a long time been dancing alone at home or outdoors and far apart so we began to look closer at what that meant for the dances and for us as dancers.

A chance to ask further questions about dances

Many of the old dances are of course adaptable to be danced alone but Pia Lamberth realised that the new way of dancing also added new possibilities.

Dances change and they change us

In these times of the Corona our need has been to find dances able to give us a feeling of community and at the same time will be helping us find our own responsibilities for the dance, in balance, rhythm and care of our fellow dancers.

This, along with what the Corona means to most of us today, and all it’s other shapes through the ages, has turned into a cycle of dances – “The Corona Suite”

The dances are newly created but are sometimes also reaching back to traditional dances meant to be danced alone. The theme is Corona in all forms and how they can help us grow and be more of ourselves today.

The dances are created to work well at home where the space might be a bit small, but will be lovely to dance together in a a big room on that day in the future when we can do it again without fear.

The suite contains ten dances: Of prayer, joy, acceptance, how to say no and how to say yes, when to settle and when not to.

Included : Notations for all the dances are available on request for an extra fee from Pia Lamberth if you have not yet taken part in the training days.
