Dear Dancers,

What a wonderful month it has been, dancing together in Forres House and at the Universal Hall. As we transition into the holiday season, I’ve loved revisiting some timeless classics. With the festive spirit in the air, it’s beginning to feel like Winter time, perfect for snuggling up with a warm cup of hot chocolate and savouring the changing weather. Here in Scotland, the chill has truly set in and the crispness underfoot during my early morning walks through the forest is both invigorating and grounding.

I have some exciting news to share! This month, I completed my thesis for Friedel, a milestone that still feels surreal. I even managed to fly over to Germany, kilt in hand, to join our training group for a Scottish dance celebration at our completion party. It was a whirlwind, but my passion for Friedel and Saskia’s dances, combined with the collective energy of the group, carried me through without missing a single session! To celebrate this journey, I’ll be hosting a short talk for my wonderful supporters. You’ll find the event details on the App or my events page on the website. I have so much to share, and I’d love for you to join me!

The other upcoming session is a talk by Gabriele Wosien – “The Way of The Dance” We are blessed to have her come with this talk in December, see information below and bookings are open via the link.

Looking ahead, I’m thrilled to announce that Friedel will join us for the 50th session of The Centrepiece. This is a fantastic achievement for our global community, and we’ll be joined by other brilliant presenters and friends to make it truly special. The event is on November 30th, a perfect opportunity to celebrate the joy of dance and the unity of our community. I can’t wait to see you all there, sharing in the magic around The Centrepiece.

Lastly, I’ve included Friedel’s latest dance below in response to a question I received. It’s such a beautiful piece.I hope you are all very well!

Sending big hugs from Scotland
Blessings,
Brant
