Welcome to
The Centrepiece
Next session : Saturday 28th March 2026
@ 19:30pm UK TIME

Dear Dancers,

What a wonderful weekend of dancing online, it was so great to see everyone in the Zoom rooms and to share movement together across the miles.

Here in Scotland it has been sunny but still a little chilly. Early this morning, while walking by the river, I saw something that truly stopped me in my tracks, a fish leaping high out of the water. I’ve never seen one jump quite so high before. It happened as I entered the stretch of river on the Forres side, where there are many fish. It’s amazing how active they are at certain times of the day. With the sunshine and the earlier light in the morning, it all felt very hopeful, perhaps spring is beginning to arrive a little earlier this year.

I really enjoyed Saturday night’s Centrepiece session 57 what a wonderful first one of the year!

Our global celebration was lovely. It was great to welcome three new presenters alongside the return of our friendly global teachers. I especially enjoyed seeing Anja’s Gothic church, what a treat. I can imagine it would be a beautiful space for meditation dance.

As promised here are the presenters links and below is some images alongside the poem from the evening.

Our presenters from the weekend were:

Dance – Jos Galdermans (Netherlands)
Dance – Yvonne Cuneo (Scotland / Findhorn)
Poetry – Sue Clutterbuck (Scotland / Findhorn)
Dance – Kevin Meyer (USA)
Dance – Maurice Peretz (Quebec, Canada)
Dance – Dansepastor Anja Worsøe Reiff (Denmark)

Offerings from some of the presenters, I’ve been told will be shared on their respective Facebook pages.

Thank you to everyone for gracing the Centrepiece with such generosity and heart.

A special thank you to our Sunday Seated Serenade teachers, Anne Crowe and Carolyne Bett, who brought a truly lovely session together. The seated dances continue to be such a gift. I’ve been practicing some this week for a local group who have invited me to join them in Elgin which has three large groups. I usually bring a mix of circle dances and three seated dances, so that those who cannot join the circle can still be fully included.

Learning dances through Seated Serenade has helped so much with this, inclusion really matters to us. The new Seated Serenade date is now on our events calendar, alongside other key upcoming dates.

Coming soon to the Centrepiece

Wisdom of Yeshua with Jilani Prescott – 19th April 2026 – Book here

I am also very happy to share that I’ll be teaching a group in Ireland this May. This group in Cloughjordan, co Tipperary is starting fresh, and you are very welcome to come along and learn some community dances with us, the information is on my events page. The poster is below.

I’ve also really enjoyed seeing Friedel Kloke’s video on her Facebook page of “Madonna with the Pine Cone” by Bernhard Wosien, here is the link. We are so fortunate to have access to these dances. I truly feel they are an important part of our dance history, so a big thank you to Friedel and Saskia Kloke for allowing us to view them.

Our video editing for the App and The Centrepiece is a little slow at the moment with how busy things are here, but we will get around to adding more to the App soon.

I hope you are all emerging gently from Imbolc, and I’m really looking forward to the Spring season as we continue to move through the changing seasons together throughout the year.

Spring is such a joyful time, with so many wonderful dances to celebrate, I can’t wait to see you all around the Centrepiece again soon.
