Dear Dancers,
It is a lovely Autumn day as I write this, and I hope you are all very well.
At the weekend, we gathered on the dancing green in community to celebrate our ancestors and Samhain. See image below of Kathryn’s lovely home grwon pumkin lantern! On the green, all of the Findhorn Sacred Dance teachers, including myself, taught a dance each, it is always so nice to share these groups together. This was our last outdoor dance of the season as the weather turns, we now get to teach in Universal Hall which is nice and cosy, no mittens needed!
As we danced, I was very aware of two magpies high up in the tree above our green, hopping from branch to branch in step with our movement. As the old rhyme goes, “two for mirth” and watching them bounce along to our rhythm felt like nature’s own cheerful blessing on our circle.
Recently I have also really enjoyed teaching in local villages. Its been a delight to meet new groups to teach dance to up the coast. And we have our last Forres house group of the year this month and have dates booked for next year.
Looking ahead, the Findhorn Community is celebrating its 64th Birthday week soon! On Tuesday night, November 17th, we will be marking the occasion by teaching in the Universal Hall as part of the community programme, Such a nice way to celebrate.
As the busyness of the year settles into a gentler rhythm, I’m enjoying having time to focus on music. With a new song on the way called “You are love”, it feels wonderful to sink into the creative process right now. I am enjoying learning how to layer music together.

Winter Tidy: Between our upcoming events, I’ll be taking time to tidy up the website and App, upload fresh videos to YouTube, and organise our schedule for next year.
I’ll be keeping you updated on circle news and events through this newsletter until January 16th, when we return for our first Centrepiece of the new year!
I do hope you can join us for the first of the year it feels like a family coming together.
