The Centrepiece Session 32 2022 |
Harmonious connections |
Sat 25th June 2022 @ 7:30 UK TIME |
Tonight, Session 31 28 May 2022, we took a walk through ages with our presenters!
What a lovely way to spend a night, it was certainly a night of dance with lovely dances from both the more energetic and complex to the slower and relaxed. We also received a wonderful sound bath from Takao in Japan which I feel took us all to another planet with the relaxing sounds.
Lesley Laslett’s dance, which I shall definitely revist, was a such sweet sound. And Boudica from Ana was lovely to do as a last dance, such good music.
It was very good to visit some medieval dance which I would like to do more of in the future. My favourite of the night was Paul Boizot’s dance, it is always good to have accessible dances and it looks like this could be fun with beginners too.
Hanna’s music was a little grainy but this dance is a classic and speaks volumes to me. I now need to obtain the notations and play with this and find some clear music. Hopefully after I track it down we can do it again on another session.
We also had our resident artist Eliene. I love to see what happens with her painting during a session, her work is wonderful and I’ll post it in the next newsletter for you to see the finished piece.
I feel much gratitude to all the presenters who take their time and come to teach for you. Alongside Tatiana and Emma who help support me.
I can’t wait until the Findhorn Sacred Dance Festival which is in planning stages and we hope to see you here in The Universal Hall to dance with us. Tickets are still available if you need any help let us know on the Findhorn Sacred Dance website which is below with some info from the team.
Come along to my June event which is by contribution, Sunday @ The Centrepiece, as we retreat with serenity! I have a lovely seated dance and more to silently take your cares away. Details are below and you don’t need to book as Zoom code will appear in the newsletter here in the next week around next weekend.
Please Note: due to low contributions we are now limited to 100 participants in the future Centrepiece sessions. Thanks to all who do contribute, it really makes a difference and helps to keep the project alive. If you feel you can help us financially then please visit our contribution page here.
I hope you all had fun tonight and I have put the notations on the notations vault you can access it below. Until the 12th June please take care and keep dancing!
Blessings
Brant
