Dear Dancers,

Lately, I’ve been finding solace at the beach, particularly at Findhorn. Last week, I captured a lovely photo of its windswept beauty – windy, yet undeniably beautiful.

This morning as raindrops gently tapped against the windows, there was a sense of tranquility indoors. Despite the brisk air lingering outside, the sight of vibrant flowers hinted at the beauty awaiting us, perhaps on the windswept shores of Findhorn beach, where the untamed Scottish winds stand ready to awaken our senses!

Last nights gathering was truly enchanting. From Bobbi’s infectious joy on the dance floor to the mesmerising rhythms of Cindy and Adrian, paying homage to the legendary Yves Moreau, and the soulful journey led by Linda Rankin. And let’s not overlook Siomara’s graceful seated dance – a poignant reminder of the inclusivity of movement.

Together, we came to honour the remarkable Anna Barton and were treated to a array of performances by our presenters. Having the Universal Hall resonate with Anna Barton’s voice was truly special heartfelt gratitude to Peter and Sue, who go above and beyond to create these cherished moments of remembrance. I’m sure Anna is watching over us with delight!

Our next Centrepiece gathering is set for the 25th of May, and the theme is simply exquisite: “Flowing like a river, Healing through movement.” It’s a topic close to my heart, as dance has been a profound healing journey for me. I’m eager to see what our presenters will bring to the table!

Nothing can help me but that Beauty.

There was a dawn I remember When my soul heard something from your soul. I drank water from your Spring and felt the current take me.
