Welcome to

The Centrepiece

Saturday 26th Sept 2026@ 19:30pm  UK TIME

 Dear Dancers,

The sun has been incredible over the last few weeks, it’s been so warm here in Moray!

Lately, I’ve found myself captivated by a little universe right outside our house. A dense, leafy bush has become the territory for a flock of common birds, complete with two tiny guards stationed on duty. Over the days, they’ve slowly gotten used to me passing by. They no longer rush off, there’s that quiet moment of recognition where an animal just knows you’re safe to be around.

Watching them hold their ground with such gentle trust has been a daily reminder of how connection happens naturally when we show up with peace.

That same spirit made seeing so many of you around The Centrepiece on Saturday such a joy. It was wonderful to reconnect!

Below, I’ve shared some photos alongside the names of the dances we did. I’ve also included a quick notation for my dance, Fly Towards the Sun, along with its music video. I’m completely captivated by the imagery of the vast, tall grass, the horse, and the soaring eagle I’m hoping to try this out locally and record a video of it soon!

Here are the dances from Saturday night please connect with the presenters by collicking on their names…

Dance – Domingos Valeski Junior – Cherish

Dance – Hazel Young – As I Walk

The next Centrepiece is below we welcome the Angel of Peace

In other news, I’ve been keeping my local practice simple. Lately, I’m finding so much richness in dances with basic steps almost like plain walking. It’s a great reminder that movement doesn’t have to be complicated to be meaningful, how we walk, the presence and intent we carry into each step, is what truly matters.

I wish you all a restful and beautiful weekend. May you find your own easy rhythm in the days ahead, whether on the dance floor or just stepping out into the sun.

Hugs from Scotland

Brant Bambery
